I used to think that to matter, one had to do great things, even better if it recognized — being a celebrity, a leading politician, someone with thousands of followers on social media, even sainthood for the religiously-inclined.
With age — and hopefully with a little wisdom — I have completely changed my mind. Nothing compares with how valuable those small acts of kindness are.
